Chapter 3 *NICE AND LOVELY*
Sam woke up by his ringing bell, and he punched it down before it could ring two times. He knew what the sound was, it was the sound of morning, a new morning, and then followed new possibilities. Today was Monday, the hardest day of the week after a fun weekend, back to the hard work. You just had to adjust your modus from ''lazy'', to ''concentrated''. He stretched out his hand to his left, but to his confusion he did not feel his dear Sandra beside him. Oh, Sam thought. She told me yesterday that she would leave, early too, to catch the plain. So, then I am all alone. I already miss you. He fought himself up, and went into the room were his five year old daughter lay sleeping, and Sam had too adore her face before he started waking her up. I guess that it's only us two now then, Lydia, he thought as he shook her shoulder, and slowly she opened her beautiful blue eyes. She was like a little princess. - Rise and shine, sunshine. It seemed like she was not really awake yet, but she smiled confused.
They ate breakfast together, and then Sam drove her to the kindergarten. He gave her a kiss, and reminded her to be a nice girl, then she answered: - Yes, of course, dad. As she walked the way to the kindergarten fence, Sam smiled. She is just like Sandra. Nice and lovely.
The day at work for Sam at the Car Repair was as usual, he had to fix some cars that had been broken by people who had driven a car but knew nothing about them. When Sam tried to ask them what they have done with some parts with the car, as the clutch, motor and wheels, they just get confused like they don't know what a car is. Then he has to check the whole car where the damage is done, and fix it when he finds it. Hard work, but money-earring work. Sam just finished the last car when he looked at the clock, it was four. The day was over. He washed his dirty hands, said goodbye to his boss that didn't seem to notice him, and started his car to go pick up Lydia. My lovely girl. As he drove, his mobile started to ring in his pants. Nobody uses to call me.
- Yes?
- Are you the father too Lydia Simpson?
- Yes, is something wrong?
- She has been kidnapped.
